Morgan Sindall Workshop

Our Year 13 students took part in a workshop with engineers from Morgan Sindall on Civil Engineering and Project Management as part of a larger project.

They were given a presentation on the construction techniques used in the building of the new Barking to Thameside Rail Link. The student teams were then challenged to design and build a bridge. They were required to consider the design constraints, materials, costings and site conditions in the design and manufacture.
