Councillor Evelyn Carpenter visits Elutec
Elutec students and staff were delighted to be joined by Councillor Evelyn Carpenter, cabinet member of Educational Attainment and School Improvement, who visited Elutec to show her support on Wednesday 27th March 2019.
Councillor Carpenter got to meet and engage with students in Years 10 to 13, and observed a live Engineering workshop and Science practical lesson. She was impressed with the facilities and spent a lot of time speaking with the students, discussing their studies and future plans following education. Sixth Form students were thrilled when Councillor Carpenter decided she wanted to try out one of Elutec’s Greenpower cars during her visit.
