English in Action

Our Year 11 students took part in the ‘English in Action’ programme online!

They got the opportunity to participate in an outstanding programme for GCSE English students.

It was a lively and interactive day with English subject experts and examiners who explored ways to improve writing skills, examined non-fiction texts and helped students tackle unseen poetry.

The highlight of the day was award-winning poet Owen Sheers who provided a thought-provoking session of poetry reading, discussion and questions.
