Results Day for our Year 13 students

It has been a pleasure to see our Year 13 students arrive to collect their results today.

The staff have enjoyed sharing the students’ success on their return to school to collect their grades.

We are really pleased with our students’ destinations studying engineering at Loughborough, Brunel, London South Bank and City, University of London to name a few.

Our students who have chosen to follow engineering apprenticeships are working with companies such as Leonardo, Fujitsu and Ford Motor Company, our partner employer.

The Head of Faculty for Engineering, Claire Bannister, states:

“Our students continue to achieve University placements or Apprenticeships at a wide and diverse range of fields in engineering, including mechatronics and computer systems, aerospace, electrical and electronic, biomedical, medical, chemical and robotics.

I am proud of the resilience, tenacity and commitment of our students in achieving their excellent results”.

Year 13 student Ariadna (pictured below), excelled in her Engineering qualifications, and achieved D*D*D* in BTEC Level 3 Engineering. Following her excellent results, she is looking forward to starting her Aerospace Engineering course at Brunel University London. Ariadna also achieved an A* in Russian and A in her Extended Project Qualification.

BTEC student Samuel (pictured below), was awarded D*D*D in Extended Diploma in Engineering, and is looking forward to starting an engineering apprenticeship at Leonardo, a leading Aerospace company.

Shemaiah (pictured below) achieved DDD in Extended Diploma in Engineering, along with an A in Extended Project Qualification. He looks forward to starting Robotics Engineering at UWE Bristol.

BTEC student Kieran (pictured below), gained DDD in Extended Diploma in Engineering and an A in Extended Project Qualification, and will continue his studies at University of Greenwich to fulfil his ambition and study Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Year 13 A Level student Jordan achieved all A’s in Chemistry, Physics and Maths, and will go on to study Chemical Engineering at Loughborough University.

Giarif achieved all B’s in Chemistry, Physics and Maths, and plans to further his studies in Mechanical Engineering at City, University of London.

Well done to all our students and all the best for the future.
