UCL Masterclass - Artificial Intelligence and Computational Science

Dr Peter Wijeratne and Dr Maitrei Kohli, Research Fellows at the UCL Centre for Medical Image Computing (CMIC), visited Elutec Academy to present the Artificial Intelligence and Computational Science Masterclass.

Both are researchers in the Department of Computer Science, their focus is on machine learning in medicine, particularly diseases of the brain like Huntington's Disease.

The Year 12 students found the presentation most interesting and were keen to ask questions. The students were also advised on university applications.
