Future Destinations Week: Apprenticeships

In the Summer term, Elutec Academy will be hosting a week of talks, workshops and visits to help prepare students for the working world after Sixth Form.

Previously we have invited several companies, such as Rolls Royce and Network Rail, to speak to the students about the apprenticeships they offer as well as advice and experiences from several apprentices themselves. We also include workshops based on CV and application writing and a visit to a company site.

Apprenticeship week will then culminate in an Employers Breakfast where we will host representatives from all the companies we have worked with and our eligible students. We will provide food, drink and time for networking in what I'm sure will be an incredible experience for the students and hopefully a beneficial one for the employers.
